Djara Cave & White Desert
Day 1: 7AM pickup from Cairo, Take transportation 360 km SW to Baharyia Oasis, rest stop 1/2 way. Arrive for lunch in Al Haiz Oasis. Move to 4×4 Landcruisers, head south for a tour of Black Desert, and Aquabat area. We will arrive at our camp in White Desert at sunset. Set up camp.
Settle into tents then enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner and party with flute and sensemia, dancing and a campfire under the stars. We will learn about the Bedouin way of life, and traveling in the desert, sharing valuable knowledge. We will have our dinner around the fire and enjoy the camp and surroundings.
Day 2: 7AM sunrise, early birds will enjoy this serene landscape at dawn. Breakfast & hot coffee. After packing up camp, we will cross the desert to New White desert, and onto Caraween Dunes, stop for sandboarding, on the way to Djara cave. After spending the afternoon discovering the Cave, we will find the perfect camp spot nestled in the dunes, enjoy a traditional BBQ dinner, campfire, and astronomy under the incredible night sky.
Day 3: 7AM sunrise and hot coffee, breakfast. Full morning touring the White desert and Crystal Mountain before returning to Al Haiz Oasis for lunch.
Take a swim in our fresh spring pool, and take a tour of the animals, walk among the giant date palms, or use our yoga/meditation space. Car will pick up at 4PM, arriving at hotel in Cairo by 9:00PM.
