Born from family farm land in 2011, Abdu Shaban’s Dreamland is more than a destination—it’s a labor of love, rooted in generations of desert heritage.
Nestled 25 minutes south of Bahariya Oasis and just 4 hours south of Cairo, we sit at the very heart of the Majestic Black Desert—a landscape of volcanic mountains, golden dunes, and endless, star-filled skies.

We offer a range of lodging options to suit every traveler:

4 double & triple rooms Private bathroom & shower in each
Large private 2-bedroom house Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a wrap-around terrace for outdoor dining, lounging, or stargazing
Group capacity: We can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 20 people in lodgings. Up to 150 camping on the property!

· Traditional Bedouin Tent – perfect for large group gatherings, meals, coffee/tea, fireside storytelling, Bedouin parties with traditional music, or simply escaping the heat of the day
· Handmade Bazaar – “Jannah’s Jewels” – browse authentic Bedouin crafts including:
· Jewelry & embroidery bags
· Pottery & baskets
· Camel wool socks & desert scarves
· Local honey from nearby farms (variety of flavors!)

We grow an abundance of fruits, nurtured by the desert sun and our natural spring water:

Mango Apricots And the pinnacle of all fruits—the Oasis Date, from over 200+ palms!
🥬 Vegetables & Legumes
Our organic gardens supply our kitchen year-round, with seasonal variety:
Ful (fava bean) Lentils Peanuts
Wheat Eggplant Peppers
Onion Zucchini Arugula
Romaine and green lettuce cabbage varieties Onions Garlic, Egyptian Okra and more!
We are always planting, always growing, and always changing with the seasons. We grow what we cook, and the dishes we prepare reflect the sunlight, the soil, and the soul of the Oasis.

On hot desert afternoons, there’s nothing better than cooling off in our natural spring pool—or simply floating in silence as the sun dips below the palms, contemplating life at sunset.

Our Bedouin chefs prepare every meal with love and fresh ingredients—straight from our garden to your plate.
