Not all of our guests want the full desert camping experience—and that’s perfectly fine. Some of you simply wish to visit, explore, and spend the day discovering the extraordinary diversity of Egypt’s Western Desert.

🌅 A Day in the Desert – Our Signature Day Tour
Your day begins at Al Haiz Ecolodge after a hearty breakfast. Then we head out into the desert—with everything we need for a perfect day:
· 🧺 Picnic lunch prepared fresh from our gardens
· ❄️ Icebox full of cold water and juice – hydration is key
· 🫖 Our famous tea basket – because no desert day is complete without Bedouin tea!
We explore, we swim, we climb, we photograph. We laugh, we share stories, and we soak in the silence.
The day ends at sunset, as the desert paints itself in gold and amber. We return to the Ecolodge, where you can rest before dinner—and relive the day under a canopy of stars.
