Join us for 2 nights & 3 days for a Christmas Desert Safari in Al Haiz Oasis, Baharya Oasis, Black & White Desert.
Day 1:
– Pickup at meeting place in 6 October, 8:30AM. move by bus directly to Baharya Oasis, 360 kms
– Arrive at Oasis Restaurant 2PM, have lunch
– Drive to Black Desert, Salt Lake, arrive at Al Haiz Oasis Lodge
– Welcome drink, settle into tents & enjoy the natural surroundings
– 4:30PM fun game of gift exchange (provided by us)
– 2 hours of Astronomy, and star gazing 6-8PM
– Traditional Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings 8-9PM
– Christmas night, Bedouin Party 9PM-1AM
– Astrophotography at midnight by choice (additional 300EGP)
Day 2:
– Traditional Bedouin breakfast with woodfire bread, dates with oil and much more
– 4×4 adventure begins; visit to sand dunes of old city covered with dunes (photo op), Crystal Mountain, Aquabat area, Small Valley, picnic lunch, Old White Desert, 400yr old Acacia Tree
– Make camp in New White Desert, BBQ dinner, marshmallows, roast sweet potatoes, singing songs around the campfire
Day 3:
– Breakfast in White Desert, visit Natural Spring, arrive 12PM to Oasis Restaurant.
– 12-1PM shop Dates & Oil Market
– Choose to have lunch here (menu will be provided to pre-order) or grab snacks for drive back to Cairo
– 2Pm back to Cairo
If you choose not to be in a tent the 1st night in Al Haiz Oasis Lodge, there are 3 extra options for accommodations:
1) Double room, +250EGP/per
2) Small house in palm trees, triple room, +300EGP/per
3) Main house, 2 double rooms, +400EGP
