White Desert Safari & Al Haiz Ecolodge: 3 Days 2 Nights

Full detailed program:
- Pickup in Cairo 7:30AM at Cilantro Cafe -Mustafa Mahmoud Square
- Travel 360 kms Southwest to arrive in Baharya Oasis, tea and coffee stop at Oasis Restaurant
- Arrive in Al Haiz Oasis for Lunch and final packing. Transfer to 4×4 Landcruisers and start our Safari through the Black Desert, Aguabat Area, arriving at our camp in The White Desert.
- Set-up camp, enjoy nature surroundings at sunset; the unique rock formations will be glowing bright white. It is spectacular!
- Settle in for a Traditional Bedouin meal, fireside evening, music, stargazing and storytelling.
- 6AM Sunrise in the incredible White Desert, enjoy hot coffee, a full Bedouin breakfast with fresh bread & fresh fruit
- After breakfast we will pack up camp and start a tour of Old White Desert, visit ancient Acacia Tree & Crystal Mountain, heading north to Al Haiz Oasis & Ecolodge
- Take a welcome drink, get settled into rooms, rest under the palm trees, swim in the fresh water spring, discover the farm and surroundings.
- lunch and a BBQ dinner will be served in Al Haiz Ecolodge
- Before dinner we will take a sunset dune ride of surrounding area of Al Haiz and Rees. Take tea in the dunes at sunset. Visit some local camels.
- Return for a BBQ dinner in Al Haiz Ecolodge
- 6 AM sunrise, hot coffee by 7 AM, learn how to make Bedouin bread, enjoy a fresh breakfast outside.
- Leave for Baharya Oasis, grab snacks for the ride home or shop dates & oil market before leaving back to Cairo, arriving at pickup destination around 9PM
PRICE:
5500le per person (Egyptian) – based on 4 per car
160 Euro or 8000le (non-Egyptian) – based on 4 per car
Price includes: Room in Al Haiz Lodge (double occupancy), camping tents, sleeping bag, mattress. All meals, water, fruits, snacks, 4×4 transportation, permission, natural park tickets, transfer from Cairo
Don’t forget: Sunhat for the day, bathing suit for natural spring, travel towel, and light jacket for evening, power-bank, head-lamp, cash for purchases or gratuities
The trip might be canceled due to:
– governmental changes or bad weather.
